CRP - Interview #1

Updated: Jun 13

After introducing myself at ceramic art London, I exchanged numbers with Paul Greenhalgh. He is an art historian and gave a very interesting talk at CAL about the history of ceramics, being one of the only historians to look at ceramic history objectively and not in relation to other fine art.

I managed to organise an interview over zoom, in which I prepared a series of questions beforehand to prompt the informal discussion. This interview was extremely useful for my CRP research. Paul provided great insight into the philosophical concepts of minimalism and maximalism as well as historical information to look further into. Paul recommended a few books for me to look into, a couple of which were his own, which also will be very helpful for my research paper.
