Glazing terracotta

For my terracotta vessels, I wanted to use the satin-matt white I developed in the last unit. It worked really well on my terracotta piece at the beginning of the project and I'm excited to see how it enhances the texture of my new works.

I added spots of jade and red glaze to the tall vessel but wanted the wider worm to be greener. The added arms and small coils look very organic, like weeds growing out of the cracks of the coils. Therefore, I used jade and chinoko glaze, yellow ochre and chrome oxide ontop of the satin white glaze.
